A New Day

Days are getting longer....once again a cold day....not as cold as Iowa though.  Why is it nobody calls...so you call someone and darn others are now calling ya?

It got real windy last night with lots of rain.  No lightening, thunder or damage though which was good. Today the sun did shine, but still cold.  So glad when spring weather gets here so my roses and other flowers will bloom.  The best thing about spring and summer everything comes to life again. Today

Been waiting on the storms today...I dislike storms since they can cause so much devastation and damage.  So far it has been windy 15 mph winds don't sound strong, but sure can tell a difference if you stand it.  Hope we don't loose any trees.  We live where there are many old trees.  Spring is getting closer...which Spring there are many storms.  The wind is just howling....kind of spooky...will we loose power....where are the tornadoes....will we get any damage. Only time will tell.....tomorrow is a brand new day.  The people who have lost someone or lost their homes we will have to remember them in our prayers.  Homes can be replaced, but not family or friends.

Family

Nothing to do with this blog, but weighed myself down 50 lbs in 3 weeks.
Now my blog.  I enjoy researching ancestry and genealogy. Family is everything and knowing who your relatives are.  I may not agree with what they do or have done..but is it really any of my business nope.  I'm not living their lives or paying their bills.  When I used to work at a hospital and pharmacy it wasn't nothing of me recognizing a name....going to their room or asking them how are we related...but darn we figured it out. I have 3 brothers, 3 sisters and one deceased brother.

My Goals in Life

Has been awhile since I have blogged, but I have been down   feeling overwhelmed with dr. visits/test and thinking.  There is no picture for today's blog.  I will promise that this blogging will get back on track.  Promise's aren't suppose to be broken so with me promising the blogs will be back on track.  I'm so ready for warmer temperatures..since my body doesn't handle the cold...so maybe I have the winter time blues.
Today's blog is what my goals are in life...not a bucket list...not a dream...but my goals.

1. To get my Dysautonomia_POTS Awareness Group non- profit (family/friends help with the annual celebrations).
2. To start a restaurant..has always been a dream...ready to fit it in a goal.  I have so many plans, menu is planned and even a name picked out.
3. Build a new home.  Already have it designed.  It is large for many family/friends to visit.

With these goals I could be the planner....while other's do the work...I need the assistance and many need the $$$$.
Will be back tomorrow...always carry a smile on your face and in your heart....take the time to breathe.

Ok, I know no posts since last Friday.  Reason to tired and busy.  Unfortunately I have no pictures to post.  What have I done: sleep, day dreamed, being lazy and tired.  Had appointments for 5 hrs. yesterday and today I ache all over.
The sun is shining and looks so nice out.  It is a tad bit chilly out, but the door is open to cool it off in here.  I like hot weather, but since this is winter I'm sitting here in a sweat shirt, joggers and yes socks.  So, 83 inside and my dress for today do not agree.  Yes, unfortunately my summer clothes are packed away.
Tomorrow I have another test done it should take only 45 min., but it is over an hour away drive each way.  Can't complain, because all the dr.'s are great.  Hopefully, Thursday I will have some new pics to post.  Maybe even some sunrises.

Today I have decided to take pictures of my curio cabinet.  The sentimental keepsakes stay in there.  Angel Beanies I collected while working in a hospital, 2 avon bottles I received for 2 Christmas's from Grandma Hannan, Grandma's watch after she passed away, the jar I purchased during the 6th grade trip to Hannibal, MO, things my parents gave me throughout the years and other things that mean a lot to me.

Yesterday I remembered to take a picture of the sunset.  Just wished I could wake up earlier to take some of the sunrise.   Before, to much longer it will begin to feel like Spring once again.  Summer will always be my favorite season, because of the warm sunny days.  Fall/Autumn is so upsetting, because the cold temperatures are not far off.  Here are a few pictures of the sunset .

A late start today.  Couldn't sleep well last night to much thinking. Got up at 11:30 am got dressed, called one of my dr.s to find out if I could take otc Prevacid (Nexium over $100.00 which we can't afford) she said to check with my GI dr. so emailed him and the bed was made.  Still need to get on the bike for awhile.  Stepped outside and didn't think it was cold the birds we're a chirping sounded like spring.  I hadn't even brushed my hair need some energy.

Happy New Year everyone.  Today started off with this gal who doesn't speak good english that keeps calling and it's the wrong number.  I have told her numerous times she has the wrong number and please stop calling. She may become my friend we shall find out if she continues to call.

What have I done so far today a few days of dishes, tree is taken down/put away and pictures were taken.  I need to start the laundry, but we will wait and see what energy I have left today.

Everybody is always asking what are your plans for the day? My answer I don't have any (which is true), unless I have a Dr. appointment.  

So on with my latest pics. Since I don't go anywhere or nobody visits I just lodge around in my night shirt or nitee all day.  Saves on laundry which is a good thing.
